Spotted a spec that doesn't match the manufacturer's page? Send the model name and the link, and we'll check it against the official source and update the page.
We don't accept payment for placement, and we don't review products sent to us, because every list here is a filter on published specs.
What can you contact us about?
Email [email protected] about four things: an error in a spec or calculation, a model you'd like added, a privacy request, or a partnership question. Putting one of those words in the subject line helps us find your message.
- Errors. A spec that doesn't match the manufacturer's page, a runtime that looks wrong, a broken link or a store button that goes to the wrong model.
- Missing models. A current model from one of the brands we track that isn't in the power station directory.
- Privacy. A question about data related to you, or a request about an email you sent us. The privacy policy explains what the site collects.
- Partnerships. Affiliate program questions from brands or networks. Read the affiliate disclosure first, because it sets out what a partnership can and can't change.
What should an error report include?
Include the model, the page, the number you think is wrong and a link to the official source that shows the right value. With those four things we can check a report in one pass.
- The model name exactly as the manufacturer writes it, including any generation or "Plus" or "Max" suffix. Many lines have several close variants.
- The page address on our site where you saw the number.
- The number and the field it's in, such as capacity, continuous output, surge, solar input or weight.
- The source. A link to the manufacturer's official US spec page, store listing or manual. A forum post or review is a useful lead, but we correct specs only from official sources.
- The date you saw it, since brands update their pages and the difference may be recent.
For a calculation, tell us what you entered and what you expected. In the runtime calculator, that means the model, each appliance with its watts and quantity, and the hours shown. Our runtimes use 85% inverter efficiency, so a result that differs from your own sum by about that margin is expected and not an error.
What happens after you report an error?
We re-check the official source and, if the data is wrong, update it. The change then reaches every page that uses that spec at the next build.
- If the official page agrees with you, we correct the database. Because pages are generated from it, the model page, the "best for" lists, the comparisons and the calculators all update together.
- If the official page agrees with us, the value stays. The model page links to the source, so you can see what we based it on.
- If official pages disagree with each other, the spec carries a short note saying so.
- If a correction moves a model in or out of a list, that happens automatically. Lists are filters on the data, so nobody adjusts them by hand.
The full corrections process is part of how we research.
How do you report a problem with an appliance answer?
Send the appliance page, the figure you think is off and, if you can, the wattage from your appliance's label or manual. Appliance answers use cited typical wattages, so your own unit can reasonably differ from them.
- If your label differs, enter your own watts in the runtime calculator. That gives you the right answer for your appliance today, without waiting for a page change.
- If our cited source looks misread, tell us which figure and which source. We check the document and correct the page if we got it wrong.
- If start-up watts are the issue, include anything your manual says about starting or surge draw. Motors and compressors add a start-up spike on top of their running figure. The surge vs running watts guide explains why.
We change a typical wattage only when a cited source supports the new value, so a single unit's reading is a lead to check, not a correction on its own.
How do you ask us to add a model?
Send the brand, the exact model name and a link to its official US spec page. We cover current models that have a published US spec page, because every number on a model page needs an official source.
We track 6 brands today: Anker SOLIX (9), BLUETTI (9), DJI Power (4), EcoFlow (14), Goal Zero (6) and Jackery (14). If a model from one of them is missing, it may be a new release or a renamed product we haven't added yet, so send it in. Requests for a brand outside that set are welcome too, but we can't promise to add one, since each brand needs its full current lineup checked before it appears. A model that has been discontinued and isn't on the brand's US store won't be added, because we cover current models only.
How do you suggest a question we haven't answered?
Tell us the appliance, the situation or the comparison you were looking for. The pages on this site exist because buyers asked those questions, and new ones are added the same way.
A good suggestion names the job, such as running a specific appliance for a set number of hours, or choosing between two named models. We can't promise to build every page, because each one needs official specs or cited sources behind its numbers.
How do you make a privacy request?
Email [email protected] with "Privacy" in the subject and say what you're asking for. The site has no accounts, forms or sign-ups, so the only personal data we'd normally hold about you is an email you sent us.
You can ask what we hold, ask us to delete your messages, or ask a question about the privacy policy. We may need to confirm the request came from the address involved before acting on it. Requests about data held by a brand store or Amazon need to go to them, since we can't see or change what they collect.
How do partnership questions work?
We're open to joining brand affiliate programs, and joining one changes nothing about what the site publishes. Rankings come from published specs and the requirement stated on each page, and the sorting code reads spec metrics only.
- What we can do. Join a brand's or network's affiliate program and add its tracking code to the existing store buttons.
- What we can't do. Sell placement, raise a model in a list, publish sponsored posts, or add claims to a page that the spec data doesn't support.
- Product samples. We don't review products sent to us. Our method compares published specifications and suitability criteria, so a unit in hand wouldn't change any page.
How soon will you hear back?
We can't promise a reply time. Reports that include an official source link are the quickest to check, because we can confirm them in one step.
You may not get a separate reply for a simple correction. The fix shows up on the page once the data is updated and the site is rebuilt. If you need an answer before you buy, the official spec page from the manufacturer is always the final word on a spec.
What can't we help with?
We can't help with orders, warranties, troubleshooting a unit, home wiring or medical device questions. We don't sell products, and we don't have inside knowledge of any brand.
- Orders, returns and warranty claims go to the retailer or brand you bought from.
- A unit that won't charge or shuts off needs the brand's support team and its manual.
- Connecting a station to your home's panel or a transfer switch needs a licensed electrician and may need a local permit. Our transfer switch guide explains the options, but it can't replace an on-site assessment.
- Running medical equipment on battery power is a question for the device maker or your care provider.
